Behind the scenes
We meticulously curate and examine top-tier agricultural investments, emphasizing long-term profitability while adhering to a framework of environmental and social responsibility. After investment, we rigorously implement the Open Oleaster Management System (OOMS) for each asset, ensuring thorough oversight and promoting sustained growth and resilience for our investments.
We meticulously evaluate critical factors including climate dynamics, water resource sustainability, regional growth trends, governance frameworks, and agricultural innovation, alongside social and environmental impacts, to strategically pre-select agricultural markets with the most potential.
Comprehensive market analysis
We conduct thorough examinations of the end markets for our selected agricultural commodities, factoring in how industry-wide trends and the social and environmental impacts across the entire value chain might shape long-term pricing and market stability.
Comprehensive Value Chain Evaluation
We use our proprietary algorithm, to pinpoint and score the most unique, award-winning, and profitable properties within selected market.
Property Analysis
We conduct a comprehensive due diligence process on the pre-selected properties in close collaboration with leading partners and experts as BDO, ESAO (Olive Oil School of Spain), or Lexvel Law Firm.
In-depth Analysis for Sustainability and Yield
Our investment methodology includes a meticulous evaluation of various factors, such as soil quality, foliage health, water availability, tree vitality, infrastructural enhancements, property rights, local regulations, and the strength of the agricultural support ecosystem. Additionally, we scrutinize marketing and markets penetration, input costs, labor wages, and the social and environmental impacts of our investments. We diligently construct a detailed business plan for individual trees, encompassing both past performance and projected outcomes
Investment criteria
We deploy our certified management system, OOMs (Oleaster Management system), that guarantees effective tree management, accurate carbon credit valuations, and strategic risk assessment, harmoniously enhancing both the value and sustainability of the investment.
Capacity building
We create a Special Purpose Vehicle (SPV) and link each share of the SPV to specific trees and plots. The SPV issues shares, which are offered to investors. This process transforms these premium and distinctive trees into green assets that are accessible to investors.
Fractionalized Ownership
distribution
Properties undergo annual audits in line with the Open Oleaster Management System (OOMS), which is anchored on five core pillars:
1. Comprehensive Grove Management, harvesting and transport, transformation, and marketing
2. Governance and Sustainability
3. Social Impact Assessment,
4. Environmental Impact and Carbon Footprint Analysis
5. Resilience and Disaster Preparedness.
These audits are conducted by independent third parties, resulting in an annual performance score reflecting the overall efficacy of tree management. This score also informs the management fee retained by producers. Dividends generated by the trees, as well as credits for carbon sequestration, are distributed to investors on an annual or semi-annual basis.
